Similarly, gold bars at Doji, Bao Tin Minh Chau, Phu Quy also simultaneously moved sideways with buying and selling prices at 80.00 - 82.00 million VND/tael. The selling price of gold bars at Big4 banks at the weekend was stable at 82 million VND/tael. Currently, the price of SJC gold bars still depends mainly on adjustments from the State Bank. Since the "stabilization" gold sales program was implemented, SJC gold bars have never recorded any fluctuations on the weekend and seem not to be affected by world gold price trends. Today too, although the world gold price increased more than 1% in the last session to a record high of over 2,620 USD, the domestic gold bar price this morning remained the same, with no change. This causes the gap between domestic and world gold prices to continue to narrow. Specifically, with a price of over 2,620 USD, world gold after conversion plus taxes and fees reached over 80 million VND per tael, the difference with SJC gold bars decreased by 900,000 VND compared to yesterday morning to 1.9 million VND.
